Travis Perkins Launches New Time-Saving Services Film “Doing What Matters for the Trade”

Doing What Matters For The Trade

Travis Perkins, which is part of Travis Perkins plc and is the UK’s largest distributor of materials to the construction sector, is launching a series of films which show customers just how Travis Perkins has developed its new services to help them save precious time.

From its now nationwide branch delivery tracking service, to its industry leading Mobile App, there is a whole raft of new services and innovations designed to save Travis Perkins customers time; something which is reported as their biggest pain-point. Combined, these provide a one-stop personalised experience, whether on the move, on site, in-branch – whenever and wherever they need it.

The Doing What Matters films also show how the previously separate offers from their Hire Service and Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery Specialist, have now been firmly integrated within the new customer proposition. To make it easy and convenient, these services are located within Travis Perkins branches, allowing for seamless trading of everything in one place, saving time, and accessible from one Trade Professional Account.

Lakhvir Sanghera, Commercial Director at Travis Perkins says: “We want to bring everything together for our customers and demonstrate our long-standing ambition to be the first choice for the trade. We want to make it really clear what we stand for and now it’s time to do just that. We know our customers want value, convenience and consistency above everything else. This is all about showing how we can support all of our customers with choice, quality, convenience and brilliant service day-in, day-out .”

Travis Perkins recently announced 50 new or relocated branches in the next five years and the brand embarks on an ambitious redevelopment, relocation and refurbishment programme, designed to improve the customer experience both in person and digitally.

The top rated merchant’s industry leading App for customers was launched in 2021 and was designed in conjunction with customers to revolutionise the way they work by allowing them to order materials in real time and check stock on the go.

Travis Perkins was recently awarded Marketing Initiative Of The Year for its #Mandown campaign, with the judging panel recognising the campaign demonstrated a commitment to raise awareness and support mental health concerns within the building sector industry.
