Bringing the entire process under one roof means we eliminate our reliance on third party powder coating suppliers, minimising any chance of errors or damage and allowing us to exceed the industry standards for quality. What’s more, with everything in our control, our reliability and dependability to deliver to ensure build schedules go ahead as planned remain unmatched.
How it Works
Our new meticulous approach begins with a rigorous mechanical cleaning process. Our unique linishing machine, the only one of its kind in the UK, utilises air, water, and adjustable brushes to eliminate even the slightest imperfections from the aluminium profile – a luxury not available when buying in painted aluminium as damage could have occurred during transport. This stage is key to increasing the quality of the material and ensures a pristine surface.
The aluminium profile is then ready for our 10-stage, chrome-free, pre-treatment process, which far exceeds the industry standard of 5-7 stages. This rigorous approach ensures that all aluminium profile is impeccably prepared for the powder coating application, resulting in a finish that is not only aesthetically unrivalled, but is extremely durable and resistant to corrosion.
To meet all project requirements, there is a range of powder coating options, including Class 1, 2, and 3 finishes, and textured finishes for the ultimate bespoke design and customisation process.
For additional quality control, our in-house laboratory conducts continual tests on the batches of the powder coating to ensure its integrity. It tests for adhesion, colour, resistance to cracking and thickness, to ensure it will maintain its pristine looks and longevity.
