A Scottish based offsite manufacturing business has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new Head of Sales for Scotland and England.
Eoghainn Mitchell, 38, from Dunfermline, joins Kirkwood Timber Frame, bringing over a decade of experience in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) sales, and building development – most recently working for one of the country’s largest timber frame manufacturers.
His appointment is a real boost for the Aberdeenshire based business which is on target to deliver 1,000 timber frame structures to customers this year. Projects of varied scope and scale have included working with housing associations, private house builders – both regionally and nationally -commercial businesses, renovation specialists and with self-builders.
Eoghainn said: “What attracted me to apply to Kirkwood Timber Frame was its varying customer base and its client-centred approach. The team works incredibly hard to foster relationships not only with customers but with partnering organisations as well. This means Kirkwood and its staff can be flexible, adaptable and deliver bespoke projects that still offer significant cost and time savings as part of the build programme.

- The supply of roof trusses to support the restoration of the large and former derelict Gartloch Hospital (into apartments) on the outskirts of Glasgow
- 64 timber frame structures for a mix of houses and apartments in Greenock

Kirkwood Timber Frame has over 40 years’ experience in delivering timber frame structures. Its factory is one of only a handful in the UK to have the machinery and capability to be producing panels of 12 meters in length, 3.2m high and up to 300mm deep.
