National contractor GRAHAM’s Building Division has raised more than £93,000 for Make-A-Wish UK through a series of golf days held across London, Manchester, Birmingham and Northern Ireland throughout June.

More than 300 individuals from supply chain partners to consultants took part in the events at The Shire London; The Macdonald Portal Hotel Golf & Spa, Cheshire; Moseley Golf Club, Birmingham; and Ballycastle Golf Club, Northern Ireland, with the events bringing together GRAHAM’s wider network around a cause at the heart of its charitable giving.

The golf days form part of GRAHAM’s ongoing partnership with Make-A-Wish UK, which began in 2024. Over two years, GRAHAM has raised more than £210,125 in total so far for the charity through a programme of fundraising activity spanning football tournaments, the Belfast Marathon, alongside the annual golf series.

Make-A-Wish UK grants wishes to children and young people aged between three and 17 who are living with a critical illness. Every wish is shaped around the individual child, giving young people and their families a moment of joy at one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Mark Lynch, Managing Director of Building South at GRAHAM, said: “Make-A-Wish UK does extraordinary work for children and families facing some of the hardest moments imaginable. Our partnership with the charity has grown over the years, reflecting how much it means to the people across our business and supply chain.

“The golf days have always been about bringing our network together around something that matters, and we are very thankful for the support we receive from our supply chain partners and consultants, which allows us to deliver these fundraising opportunities for Make-A-Wish UK.”

Jason Suckley, Chief Executive of Make-A-Wish UK, said: “We are incredibly grateful to GRAHAM for their continued support through these annual events and for everything they have done for Make-A-Wish UK over the course of our partnership.

“The funds raised will help us grant more life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses, giving them moments of joy, hope and strength when they need it most. It is thanks to partners like GRAHAM, and everyone who takes part, that we can reach more families and create memories that make a real difference to a child’s wellbeing.”
