Jamie Capon appointed Construction Director, with Joel Anderson joining as Head of Construction West as the housebuilder continues its strategic growth.
Housebuilder Wyatt Homes has strengthened its senior construction team with the appointment of Jamie Capon as Construction Director and Joel Anderson as Head of Construction West, supporting the business as it continues to grow its portfolio and expand into new markets.
Jamie takes on the senior construction role, with responsibility for the delivery of Wyatt Homes’ entire residential portfolio, spanning current developments and future sites across Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire and Cornwall. Joel joins as Head of Construction West, reporting to Jamie and taking responsibility for Wyatt Homes’ expansion into Cornwall.
Wyatt Homes is delivering its first development in the county at Nansledan, a mixed-use sustainable community by the Duchy of Cornwall on the north coast of Cornwall and is looking to build on this presence with further opportunities across the county.
Jamie brings 25 years’ experience in construction management to Wyatt Homes, having progressed through roles including Site Manager, Project Manager and Contracts Manager, ultimately moving into senior construction leadership.
His career has included roles with Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey and Miller Homes, with his most recent role being 10 years with CALA Homes, where he went on to become Construction Director. His experience spans the South East and South West, giving him extensive knowledge of construction delivery, regional supply chains and subcontractors in these regions.

Joel has 23 years’ experience in housebuilding most recently working for Morrish Homes as Head of Construction. His experience will be particularly valuable as Wyatt Homes establishes and grows its presence in Cornwall. He has a strong personal connection to Nansledan, where he lives with his family, giving him first-hand knowledge of the development and the wider local community.
