Bellway is preparing to hand over the last keys to new homeowners at two Billingshurst developments, as the housebuilder prepares to unveil a third site in the village.

All homes have been sold and construction is drawing to a close at both Amblehurst Green, which has provided the neighbourhood with 149 new homes, and completed at The Courtyard, which has delivered a further 18 executive homes, off East Street.

The housebuilder has now started construction work at Woodcroft Park, a collection of 51 new homes off Oak Road in Billingshurst.

The 9.5-acre site, which was acquired by Bellway in January, will feature 33 homes to be sold privately – including two, three and four-bedroom houses and two-bedroom bungalows – and 18 one, two and three-bedroom houses provided as affordable homes for local people through rent or shared ownership.

The first homes at the development are set to be released for sale this summer.

Daniel Williamson, Sales Director of Bellway South London, said: “We’ve seen a great deal of interest in the new homes we’ve built at Amblehurst Green and The Courtyard. With our third site in Billingshurst launching soon, buyers who previously missed out will still have the chance to secure a new home in this popular West Sussex village.

“Woodcroft Park, which borders countryside while only being a short distance from the village centre, is likely to appeal to a range of homebuyers including first-time buyers and families of various sizes.

“As well as bringing more homes to the area, we will also be delivering a new area of woodland on the site for the benefit of the new residents and the wider community.

“We are continuing to make progress with construction work at Woodcroft Park and look forward to releasing the first homes for sale to the public in the next few months.”

As part of the planning agreement for the development, Bellway will be providing more than £640,000 in funding for local facilities and services, including education and transport.
