Preview images of the first Ashberry Homes properties to be built at Boorley Gardens in Botley have been revealed ahead of the development’s launch next month (13 June).

Ashberry at Boorley Gardens will comprise 55 new homes within the wider neighbourhood which is being created on land to the west of Winchester Road.

The development forms part of the third phase of construction at Boorley Gardens, which is taking place within the southern section of the wider site where allotments are also planned.

The computer-generated images released by Ashberry Homes show the variety of house designs which will feature at the development, as well as the large area of open space which will run along the western boundary of the site.

Properties will largely be built in traditional red brick to reflect the character of the wider neighbourhood.

Jon Rance, Sales Manager at Ashberry Homes, said: “Ashberry at Boorley Gardens will be a collection of energy efficient, sustainable homes designed to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of buyers, with properties ranging from two to five-bedroom houses. In addition to the 34 properties for private sale, 21 of the homes – including a mix of two and four-bedroom houses – will be provided as affordable homes for those unable to purchase on the open market.

“In keeping with our company-wide commitment to sustainable practices, the homes will include a range of technologies such as solar panels and electric vehicle charging points to help residents minimise their energy usage and enable the use of environmentally friendly modes of transport.

“The CGIs we have revealed ahead of the launch provide a first glimpse of the design and appearance of the homes we are building here. They show a range of traditional red-brick houses complemented by landmark properties in white painted brick which have been carefully designed to reflect the character of the wider neighbourhood.”

Ashberry Homes, which is part of the Bellway Group, began construction work on the development last November. The first properties for occupation are due to be completed by September this year.

Ashberry at Boorley Gardens will officially launch to the public on Saturday 13 June when a sales centre and two showhomes will open and the first properties for sale will be released onto the market.
