Site managers across Miller Homes’ Scotland East and West divisions recognised for outstanding quality
Six Miller Homes site managers in Scotland are celebrating after being named winners at this year’s NHBC Pride in the Job Awards, recognised as the most prestigious industry accolade for site managers in housebuilding.
Site Managers, Jake Telford at Strathmartine in Dundee, Ewan Todd at Shawfair near Edinburgh, Lloyd McCord at Chapel Gardens in Dumbarton and Andrew Farquharson at Millerpark in Clydebank have all won the award for the first time.
Derek Tait, at West Craigs Manor in Edinburgh, picked up the award for the seventh time, while Duncan Currie, at Antonine Brae in Bo’ness, was recognised for the second year running, both demonstrating sustained, year-on-year commitment to the highest standards.
NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards see site managers from across the UK assessed over an 18-month period against six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety. This year, 450 site managers were named Quality Award winners from a field of 7,500 sites across the UK, with 15 of those coming from Miller Homes.

All six Quality Award winners will now progress to the next stage of judging, where they will compete for the Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards, to be announced later this year, ahead of the national Supreme Award winners being unveiled in January 2027.
