Sunbelt Rentals will rent and sell Matterport’s hardware and services, such as the newly-launched Matterport Pro3, making it easier than ever for UK customers to capture digital replicas of the real world
Matterport, Inc. (“Matterport”) (Nasdaq: MTTR), the leading spatial data company driving the digital transformation of the built world, is partnering with Sunbelt Rentals, the UK’s largest and greenest provider of rental equipment, to sell and rent Matterport hardware and services to Sunbelts’ customers. Through the partnership, Sunbelt Rentals will make the Matterport Axis, Pro2, and the newly-launched Pro3 available across its online store and over 200 network branches.
With businesses in the construction and commercial real estate sectors continuing their digital transformation journeys, the collaboration makes it easier for them to access the technology and services needed to create replicas of physical environments. These digital twins can be used to enable remote management of properties, showcase features virtually, reduce design and construction costs, manage projects and create models that enhance facilities management and enable the implementation of sustainability and efficiency measures.

Sunbelt Rentals will also act as an official reseller for Matterport Pro3, the company’s first-ever 3D LiDAR camera. The camera scans indoor and outdoor spaces faster than all previous models, with the highest accuracy of its product line-up. The models can also be shared online via a Matterport SaaS subscription, to improve collaboration and efficiency.
